Omari Kamal

Hi! I'm Omari, a leader and lover of great people. My life doesn't belong to me. My life is yours. I created this site in an attempt to share with you the best of what I'm getting from my personal journey. The intention is to have my sharing make a difference inside of what you're committed to. As for my particulars though, I'm married to a beautiful woman whose name is Shara. Shara is a brilliant attorney/businesswoman. I had a crush on her for 10 years before I got the courage to ask her out! We have 3 amazing sons. Omari, Jr. is 12, Taj is 5 and Amir is 4. There are no words to express how much I love them. I am the founder of Community Capital, an accounting and business consulting firm that targets minority-owned businesses that are looking to raise funds and expand. I am also the Executive Director of the African-American Community Trust (AACT), a nonprofit organization that makes grants to community leaders who are committed to transforming the Black community. AACT houses the Black Equity Index, a blog/vlog that articulates the value and values of privately-held, Black-owned businesses. The aim of ACT and BEI is to promote social justice through economic development. Besides family and work, what I want you to know about me is that I'm fundamentally a seeker of truth and my biggest preoccupation is inquiring into the real possibilities that exist in life. Inside of this, I read quite a bit and I'll be sharing a lot from the various insights that I pick up from what I read. I also lead Graduate Seminars at Landmark Worldwide, a global leader in personal training and development. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I do not know what my life would look like had I not participated in The Landmark Forum (Landmark's flagship course) 15 years ago. My personal belief is that everybody in the world should do the Landmark Forum and you'll see/hear this in a lot of my posts ;-). Broadly speaking, the three areas that I'll be writing about are personal power/happiness, well-being/health and wealth. At the bottom of all of this is my commitment that people live life fully and make the most of each moment in their lives. I love to make friends with people from all walks of life and am constantly looking for a way to bring my people together. I'd love for you to be at my next event! Click here to see what's coming up. If we haven't met, then I'd love to have the pleasure. My joy in life is hearing what people are up to in their lives and supporting them in breaking through whatever is necessary for them to get to the next level. Please drop me a line here and, until we meet or connect again, I pray that you be well, love hard and live peacefully. Your brother, Omari
